| Comments: I had to practice a bit when I first stertad using this type of pattern as well. I am proficient now but there was a definite learning curve.One of the problems with doing patterns differently is that I am not super computer literate and I will have to learn a whole new computer program to make patterns with gridlines. It took dozens of hours to learn to use the program I am using and it will take many hours (along with angry exchanges with boyfriend when I ask for help then lose patience) before I am proficient. Right now I am in pattern development mode and I want to get patterns done while I am on a roll. After all, I am trying to do 50 patterns as one of my A&S50 goals. Later, after I learn the other program, I will redo all the patterns with gridlines. *sigh* I wouldn't be surprised if it takes me until next year to get to that. Thank you for your feedback. I am not offended by well meant criticism as it helps me learn and I really do want my stuff to be the best it possibly can. | Comments: I think about when Jesus told the scrbie after the scrbie got really excited and proclaimed about I will follow you wherever you go with no encouragement or sweet words of any kind of a response with the Son of man have no place to lay His head. I can see Christ was not at home in this world. I think about not getting too settled here, as we are all passing through.I kinda cringe when I see folks have went through the trouble to get the things they want, instead of need, such things they cannot take to Heaven with them, if they do go to Heaven.I think about standing before God and wondering if I can answer to Him in a transparent way about any items I have in my possession, whether they were needful things, the things I need to do the work of His Kingdom.I think about surrendering all to Him and let Him run my life and take care of my problems as I walk by His side.I think it's healthy to keep those thoughts in mind along the way in this life, so as not to accumulate excess baggage that can bog me down spiritually into the pit of miry clay.If perchance, I'm handed items for free or for pennies on the dollar, it's up to me to decide what to do with it, to serve Him and help other folks. |
