ASCII Table

ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange, and it is a character encoding scheme based on the English alphabet. It is a 7-bit encoding system used to represent English characters. ASCII was first created in 1963, was published as standard in 1967, and was last updated in 1986. It defines 2^7 (or 128) characters, of which 33 are non-printing and 95 printable characters.
