Attribute for <MULTICOL ...>
GUTTER = integer
GUTTER controls the space between the columns. WIDTH controls the width of one
column (all columns are the same width, and WIDTH controls that width). Here's an
example of an extreme value. We also have a page of

Either the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as
she went down to look about her, and to wonder what was going to happen next. First, she
tried to look down and make out what she was coming to, but it was too dark to see
anything: then she looked at the sides of the well, and noticed that they were filled
with cupboards and bookshelves: here and there she saw maps and pictures hung upon pegs.
GUTTER and WIDTH interact. They both control how horizontal space is allocated,
so changing one effects the other. The easiest thing to do is to only use one, and
GUTTER is generally the better one to use. GUTTER controls the visual separation between the
columns, no matter what the user's screen size. WIDTH, however, will result in
different spaces between the columns on different screens.
